1. PLURAL conventions
- *-multiplication
in the non-commutative case,
one should use y*x for the multiplication while yx is interpreted as
commutative expression. See example in poly expressions.
ideal
Under an ideal PLURAL understands a left ideal.

module
Under a module PLURAL understands a left submodule of a free module of a finite rank.

- ordering
PLURAL works with global orderings only.

In PLURAL it is only possible to build factor-algebras modulo two-sided ideals.
