Post subject:  Hilbert function for m-primary ideals

I am interested in the computation of Hilbert function and
polynomial of m-primary ideals:
let R be a local ring with maximal ideal m, I an m-primary
ideal of R. The problem is to compute the Hilbert
function H_I of I:
H_I(n)=lenth_R(I^n/I^{n+1}),
and then to compute the Hilbert polynomial of I.
Is there somebody that can help me?
