Post subject: Call Singular from Java
PostPosted: Fri Mar 31, 2006 6:04 am
I'm sory if my question is simple because I'm new to Singular.
I intend to build my application in Java and use Singular to solve an integer programming problem.
I wonder whether we can call Singular from Java or not.
I have read Singular's manual but I don't see this.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Huynh Tan Dat,

First of all let me clear that I do not know much of JAVA. But I think below mentioned tools "Singular-Serivce" and "Singular-Shell" can be of help to you. They are developed by the "Research Institute for Applications of Computer Algebra" of "Technische Universiteit Eindhoven Netherlands" (http://www.riaca.win.tue.nl/products/singular/)

A tool Singular-Service provides a web (TCP/IP) based execution of Singular.

Just check whether it helps you.
